There are several pathways to work with me depending on your needs and preferences. Here are four possible ways we can practice together.
Class Offerings
All classes are designed to be accessible for every body, regardless of experience level or physical ability. You can practice any shape while standing, seated, or reclined, and I will offer modifications and variations throughout to support your individual needs. While classes share this foundation of accessibility, each offering uniquely caters to different aspects of the physical and mental practice. I invite you to explore classes to discover which resonates most with your body and intentions on any given day.
Ebb & Flow
EBB + FLOW honors the natural cycles of effort and ease. This balanced practice begins with active yet gentle flowing sequences that gradually build warmth and awareness in the body. The second half of the practice transitions into restorative postures where bolsters, blankets, and blocks fully support the body, inviting an opportunity for deep rest and release. This combination of gentle movement followed by supported stillness offers a complete practice that respects the body's need for both activity and recovery.

Anchor
ANCHOR establishes a stable foundation for your yoga practice, making it ideal for beginners and those wanting to refine their understanding of foundational yoga techniques. This class incorporates workshop elements, in addition to hatha-inspired flow sequences, where detailed instruction is provided followed by opportunities to practice and explore shapes. While similar to Gentle Current, ANCHOR provides more direction for physical alignment and time to enter, experience, and understand each pose. Bring your questions and curiosity.

Gentle Current
GENTLE CURRENT is a hatha-inspired practice that flows through traditional asanas (shapes) at a mindfully slower pace. Unlike faster-paced Vinyasa classes, this practice invites lingering in postures, creating space to explore moments of unexpected depth through conscious breathing and deliberate movement. The class includes seated, standing, and balancing sequences with careful attention to body awareness. The GENTLE CURRENT format provides a chance to slow down and fully experience each aspect of the practice, transforming familiar postures into opportunities for greater observation.

Captain’s Chair
CAPTAIN’S CHAIR is a chair-supported yoga practice, where chairs become tools for expanding your practice. The sequences are designed to be practiced seated or using chair support, while maintaining focus on increasing range of motion, developing core stability, and building strength. This class incorporates breathing techniques and mindful movements that particularly benefit those with balance concerns, limited mobility, or anyone seeking extra support in their practice that day.

Float
FLOAT is a yin-based practice embodying the quiet power of stillness. In a yin class, postures are held for extended periods (typically 3-5 minutes) while the body is supported with props. Unlike other styles of yoga that strengthen and stretch the muscles, this contemplative approach targets the deeper connective tissues and joints, inviting a gradual opening through time and gravity rather than effort. The long, passive holds create space for the mind to quiet and for sensation to be observed with curiosity. FLOAT is particularly beneficial for those seeking to increase range of motion, counterbalance athletic training, or explore the meditative aspects of yoga through physical practice.

Yoga for Complex Trauma and PTSD
Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) is the only empirically validated yoga intervention for complex trauma and PTSD, developed by David Emerson in collaboration with renowned trauma expert Dr. Bessel van der Kolk..
Research on TCTSY demonstrates that people who complete a 10-week TCTSY program experience remarkable improvements. Many report experiencing less PTSD symptoms, feeling more connected to their bodies, and having better awareness of physical sensations. In fact, many participants who had a PTSD diagnosis before receiving TCTSY no longer met the criteria for that diagnosis after 10 weeks of the intervention. When used alongside traditional therapy, TCTSY accelerates treatment progress for many participants.
TCTSY can be particularly helpful for individuals and groups who have experienced overwhelming or distressing events in their lives, including:
Survivors of abuse, violence, and neglect
First responders
People struggling with ongoing trauma symptoms
Those recovering from medical trauma
Anyone who experiences dissociation or disconnection from their body
Sessions can be offered one-on-one or in small groups, either as standalone programs or integrated into broader treatment plans.
Contact me to discuss private sessions, arrange TCTSY group classes at your facility (such as shelters, detention centers, or treatment programs), or schedule a half-day professional training workshop for staff working with trauma survivors.
